Not by us and not by the AI providers behind the tool. Every provider we use is contractually barred from training or fine-tuning on anything you send to us, and your documents are deleted from their systems immediately after your letter is generated. Your refusal letter never becomes someone else's training data.

The system is built so that a person reading your file is the exception, not the rule. No member of staff can open your documents without explicit permission, the live system is walled off from everyday access, and every access-related action is logged.

Your documents are stored on Microsoft Azure in Switzerland. Everything is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), kept behind private networking, and never mixed in with anyone else's data.

smarterclaims doesn't keep your documents. Your uploads and your finished rebuttal pack sit in encrypted, isolated storage for a maximum of 24 hours — purely as a safety buffer in case your email needs re-sending — then they're permanently and automatically deleted. There's no account, no archive, no "research set." The only things kept are the basic transaction records (your email and payment reference). We're legally required to hold this for accounting purposes.

The platform behind smarterclaims is ISO 27001 certified — the global standard for information-security management, checked by an independent auditor — kept under continuous monitoring, and penetration-tested by external security firms, so you don't have to take any of what we say on faith.
